Officers were dispatched to the Milford Diner on Bridgeport Avenue on Tuesday, Oct. 23, where there was a report of a threatening incident involving the manager of the restaurant.
According to police, the investigation into the incident found that Sherman resident Lance Barrett, 45, allegedly threatened the manager with a knife after he was refused a job at the diner.
Barrett was arrested and charged with threatening and breach of peace. Following his arraignment, he was released and is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 20 to answer the charges.
